MONROE, LA, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Krown Technologies Inc. today introduced QwickAuth™, an authentication product in development that brings five-factor synchronous authentication and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) into one security architecture. Krown identifies QwickAuth™ as the world’s first and only five-factor synchronous authentication product, with PQC incorporated into its design.

QwickAuth™ is being built around a clear goal: higher security with greater fluidity. It brings multiple proofs together within one coordinated interaction, helping people move naturally from authentication into the application, device or service they want to use.

At the core is an Authentication Moment: a tightly bound event that brings together device possession, local user verification, live face presence, a fresh spoken challenge and cross-modal coherence. Coherence checks whether the proof sources belong to the same interaction. The architecture evaluates the required evidence together before granting access; conflicting or expired evidence can prevent a successful authentication.

QwickAuth™’s reference implementations support two capabilities tied to NIST publications: ML-DSA-65 post-quantum signatures, standardized in FIPS 204, and phishing-resistant passkey authentication designed to align with SP 800-63B-4. Passkeys bind authentication to the legitimate service, while ML-DSA-65 signs authentication assertions. Krown is developing the product toward applicable NIST guidance; production integration and validation remain underway.

QwickAuth™ is built natively into Excalibur’s product design, making authentication an integral part of the cold wallet’s security experience. Its role supports deliberate access and authorization alongside the wallet’s other safeguards. Excalibur provides a hardware application for an architecture designed to extend into software and other connected products.

As part of Krown Technologies’ product offerings, QwickAuth™ is being engineered for integration into mobile applications, digital wallets, enterprise systems and connected devices. The goal is to give product makers around the world a way to introduce stronger authentication while keeping the experience familiar and fluid for their users.

Development is continuing toward production readiness. Commercial availability, supported integrations and final specifications will be announced as the relevant development and validation milestones are completed.
